A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Marty Walsh currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA). He previously served as the 29th United States Secretary of Labor and the 53rd Mayor of Boston. Among his many distinguished roles, he represented the 13th Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and led the Boston Building Trades Council.

A dedicated public servant and advocate for working people, Walsh also shares his personal journey as a recovering alcoholic and has been sober for 31 years.
